Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.– Deuteronomy 16:17
Estate and Planned Giving
What would you give to God in gratitude?
Our Catholic faith is a beautiful gift, a gift we received from the loving Shepherd himself. It is a gift that we must share with others, but how do we do that?
The Foundation is here to help build and support our Church into the future. We do this with your prayers and your generosity. We can help you plan gifts so that donations today benefit your tax situation annually, and we can help you plan your final gift so that your heirs and your Faith will benefit.
Every parish/mission in our Diocese has an endowment through the Foundation and there are multiple Catholic ministries we endow. A personalized option is to build an endowment in your family’s name to gift the parishes and ministries that are most important to you.
While 50% of adults have a will and 80% of people give charitably, fewer than 7% leave a charitable gift in their estate*. Does that mean that most Catholics have never even considered supporting the mission of Jesus in their final gift? Will you remember Him at this crucial time in our Faith’s role in society?
We urge you to prayerfully consider:
- Tithing to the Church through your estate; or
- Treat Her as one of your beloved children and leave an equal share of your assets to help build Her future.
Without a doubt the Church will need financial support to bring Christ to future generations. What if our parting gift to the Lord reflected how thankful we are for all He has done for us? What would you give to God in gratitude? He gave us his only Son.
